Cooke County Electric Cooperative Charitable Foundation Distributes $16,639.81 in Initial Grants to Three Area Organizations
Cooke County Electric Charitable Foundation (CCECF) is pleased to announce its initial distribution of funds. A $10,000 donation was made to Montague County Carpenter’s Shop (www.noconacarpentersshop.com), along with $4,639.81 to CASA of North Texas (www.casant.org) and $2,000 to the Bettie M. Luke Muenster Public Library (www.muensterlibrary.com). These organizations not only meet the criteria but exemplify the mission statement of CCECF, to accumulate & disburse funds to individuals and organizations for public safety, health needs, self-sufficiency, basic human needs, and the cultural environment. CCECF is honored to have the opportunity to assist in the funding of these programs.
CCECF was formed as a catalyst to distribute funds generated from the Cooke County Electric Cooperative Association’s (CCECA) Operation Round Up® program. The collected “rounded up” pennies from their member owners’ monthly bills are used to benefit the members in the service area of CCECA.
